This is supposed to be a pond with the late afternoon afternoon setting sun shining on it. I am not happy with it, but I am posting it anyway. I learn from my mistakes and sometimes seeing them as they look photographed helps me decide what I did wrong in the sketch. I went to nebraska for a few days and then of course, came back. Traveling is exhausting for anybody and I knew I was exhausted but sometimes, often in fact, drawing helps me unwind the stress. I drew this with graphite and then painted it with watercolor pencils and then watercolor from pans in some places. I signed it, photographed it several times but cybercriminals at remote were trying to snag the photos [via wifi that is NOT enabled supposedly on my big digital camera but appears to be at times], and then I uploaded it, and posted it today to this blog of mine. Copyrighted and I, Gloria Poole, own all rights to this blog as a whole unit and as individual posts or art that I made. I made, signed, photographed and posted all art on this blog and own all rights to it.

This is my selfie in spring 2014 but I look the same except thinner and my hair is longer. I still put my hair in lop-sided pony-tail when I walkabout or paint to prevent hair from getting into my eyes, or into my paints or inks.
