This is the 4th #cartoon I have created/ drawn/ sketched this past few days. I am making an effort to put cartoons I created on several of my blogs to show them to the world so that they know that the cartooning I do is of fun sort and is not political nor attacks on anybody's religion. I drew this first with graphite, then used chalk as first layer of paint, then re-painted some of it with soft pastels. This is 9 x 12 on paper in my sketchbook of the moment. I signed it with an oil pencil. Hopefully it is self-explanatory. This is one of my photos of the U S flag that I photographed on walkabout, to remind all that I am U S citizen in the continental U S [Missouri] with all guarantees of the U S Constitution including the first amendment.
This is my selfie in spring 2014 but I look the same except thinner and my hair is longer. I still put my hair in lop-sided pony-tail when I walkabout or paint to prevent hair from getting into my eyes, or into my paints or inks.
