2 sketches lipstick and chains of socialism painted by me Gloria Poole,RN,artist of /in Missouri

I drew this last nite while trying to sleep, or relax enough to sleep. It is supposed to be women's cosmetics: lipstick, blush and tiny brush and a fingernail file. I don't think I quite achieved the look I was aiming for however. thiose are my fingers on the lower left edge. Copyrighted. I drew it, painted with watercolor and acrylics on 6 x8 bristol paper and I signed it,photographed it a few times, uploaded it, and posted it today 13 March 2016 at 3:25pm. I drew this with watercolor pencils and painted it by using brush wet with water to wash over it. I named it "the chains of socialism" which are sort of loose promises [ways to bind people to their political party] then they get progressively tighter as it becomes more entrenched in a country. As the people get more and more so-called "benefits" and "entitlements" and work less and less of an honest day's pay for an honest day's wages, the chains get tighter and the people learn to "like" their bondage. Until the country becomes so full of people NOT working or paying in taxes and the country teeters on edge of bankruptcy and default, and then the whole thing collapses and then the country has a revolution of some sort and they retrench, regroup. I am writing that from studying history. I know some of the political candidates for President are much promoting socialism and I OPPOSE them with this protest, political art sketch. I signed this, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it today 13 March 2016 at 3:31pm. It is also on 6 x 8 bristol board paper. Copyrighted.
