Sketch Swiss cable cars by Gloria Poole of Missouri

This is an acrylic sketch I drew first in pencil and then painted with acrylics, this morning. It is of cable cars as are found in the Swiss alps. It is only a sketch and if I paint it into oils, or do-over the sketch, I will change the mountains in the background to the left of sketch. I am not happy with it totally but it's something created today 11 January 2015, and all sketches are "practice" basically, trying to define how artist [me] wants something to look. A sketch:painting as rough draft:manuscript. I enlarged this after I uploaded and that is why photo looks grainy.

This is my photo of my oil paint brushes and solvents. It is not a staged photo--just an impromptu one to show that I do use actual brushes [not electronic tools] most of the time.

This is my 2015 signature I signed with digital ink and an electronic tool, but I also created one with paint & it is on other blogs of mine.

This is the U S flag I photographed on walkabout in December 2014 to remind all that I am a US citizen with first amendment liberties including freedom of Press, freedom to publish my thoughts, beliefs, words, poems, art I create, photos I photograph; and the freedom to protest the governments and the freedom to worship GOD. That is my paraphrase of the first amendment so Google it to read the actual words of Constitution.

This is my left hand holding one of my Southern Baptist Christian crosses to remind all that I am Southern Baptist/Great Commission Baptist and we, collectively as a religion, do not make images of JESUS nor display them on our crosses.I adhere closely to the King James Holy Bible.
