Sketch #10 of infant trying learn to paint babies, by me Gloria Poole,RN,artist of/in Missouri

I think this is my tenth effort to draw, and paint an infant. It has been about 2 yrs since I last tried this, I think. I practice the skill intermittently. I drew this sketch on 8 x 11 inkjet paper with Faber-Castell pencils to begin with, as undercoat then painted over parts of it with powdered pastels. I signed it of course, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it today 22nd Feb 2016 at 8:30am. OBVIOUSLY, I drew the eyes of this "baby" wrong and maybe the shape of the head also. Those are my fingers on the bottom left edge of paper. Years ago, when I first decided to learn to paint, I wanted to paint to paint prolife paintings of babies to [hopefully] encourage women to have living babies. I consider my "life's work" to be using my Registered Nurse knowledge and art skills, and writing skills to change the medico-legal-politco environment in US from a culture of death to a culture of life. The current administration is the U S version of Nazi Germany because their fake insurance plan only depopulates the US and pays to kill tiny citizens in the womb. It's the US version of Nazi gas ovens for those in the womb, and for the sick, injured, handicapped and "elderly" defined by evil Obama as older than fifty. And also other blogs of mine which I post art too, such as this one. I am prolife through and through and I am Christian from age of seven! So I am NOT going to change that or become "politically correct" to please the enemy of human life which is the devil.

Also, I painted a #cartoon of two bluebirds which I posted below. It's just for fun, not serious "art". I watch the birds from my balcony often and sometimes with my binoculars. I have also painted cartoons of birds intermittently and posted them to various blogs of mine. You might can see all at once by googling my name in quotes such as "Gloria Poole + bird sketches". Google has indexed the art I create since about year 2007. I LOVE #Google who has always been good to me and for me!

This is a #cartoon of a pair of blue birds. I have seen bluebirds in Missouri only a couple of times near my apt. I see cardinals much more often here. I have drawn sketches of all sorts of birds--cranes, eagles, cardinals, imaginary birds that I created with art supplies, etc over the years. This sketch is on 6 x 8 inch watercolor specific paper and I painted it with watercolor and a brush, and of course signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it. Copyright.

This is my selfie in spring 2014 but I look the same except thinner and my hair is longer. I still put my hair in lop-sided pony-tail when I walkabout or paint to prevent hair from getting into my eyes, or into my paints or inks.
