Fall's Riot of Color sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

This sketch is one I drew first and then painted in acrylics on paper and then signed--all done yesterday. By the time I signed it, the paint had gotten sort of gloppy [had dried some] but I thinned it and tried again. I named this "Fall's riot of color", meaning the season of fall, obviously. If you have ever walked though the woods in the fall, or driven through the mountains, especially the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, you know exctly what I mean. It is as color exploded everywhere, and falling from sky as leaves. Oranges, reds, yellows, terra-cotta shades scattered on trees, the ground, the sky. I don't think I did justice to the "ivy" in this scene but I tried. I like the theme of arches, and of wooded areas. I grew up on a farm that grew timber, and there was wooded sections of the farm to walkabout in [and also some in crops planted]. I like being outdoors and I love rural areas where rolling country land goes on for miles and miles. Pastures with wild flowers, and trees of all sorts, gives a sense of calm and peace that no city can match. I hope you like this sketch. It is 14 x 17 on paper and I photographed it on my giant easel. Somebody tried to break into my account of this blog as I logged into it today, and my isp blocked their intrusion, thank GOD. I knew that because my web-browser closed suddenly, closing the account I had just logged in too, and creating a re-do for me. I do have some security features enabled for this account because it was broken into often from the get-go [from the day I created/ registered it, began using it.]

And yes, I know the abominations that GOD defined in Leviticus 18:22, KJV, call me a "bigot" and a "JESUS-freak" for opposing their sins as defined by The Bible. And I know they break into my blogs and my computers and all my electronic devices in their zeal to ruin me for opposing their sin and their attempts to force it on vulnerable children in public schools. I keep praying that the power of GOD will raise up some honest, law -abiding law enforcement who will stop perverts from breaking into my computer and telephone line. I have the same first amendment liberties to not associate with perverts as they have not to associate with Christians.
