Rocky Top Dancer sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia

I, Gloria Poole, of Missouri drew this painted it signed it photographed it on my portable drawing board and uploaded it to this blog of mine. Copyrighted. See notice below sketch.

This sketch is inspired by a song that is or was very popular in the state of Georgia and every body dances to it. The dance is sort of a stomp to the rhythmm of it, and it is about a real place named "Rocky Top, Tennessee". I also danced to it --a lot--and loved every minute of it. I painted this as sketch to be redhead because when I was young I had a red-headed aunt Lucy from Italy who wore flaming red nail polish, had hair this color and talked about hundred miles/minute in Italian. My daddy considered her to be a "foreigner" [which was true to a degree but since she married his brother in Savannah Georgia she became American]. He always said to my mama who was her friend, "why do you listen to that EYE-talian?" Because he considered her to be so exotic I was always fascinated by her. I couldn't understand a word she said, but she talked with her hands, managed to antagonize nearly every one in the community [except maybe me] and had gorgeous clothes and jewelry. And she and my uncle went dancing sneakily because my granddaddy [where they stayed when they were in my hometown/community in Georgia] didn't approve of dancing. The background of this sketch is of a place that does not exist as far as I know since I created it with pencils and paint brush just as I created the pretend dancer. Rocky Top the music with words is usually played at Southern festivals and Universities, and at some places to dance. I have this sketch on watercolor paper and it is 9 x 12 of acrylic and watercolor.

So, I thought maybe this was a fitting and proper tribute to her memory [because she died in the last year]. She was probably about the age of this sketch pretend woman [that does not resemble my aunt except for the hair] when I was a child. I named this sketch "Rocky Top dancer" because I loved the song and music and dance of Rocky Top, and because I was fascinated by my real aunt with flaming red hair, much personality and "sass" as my grandmother would have said, and because I have sketched red hair pretend people several times now. Another pretend redhead that I painted into oils for my ethnic series of oil paintings is named "Irish student" and is displayed on my mini exhibit blog of art I create at: https://mini-exhibition.blogspot.com. I, Gloria Poole, drew, painted, signed, photographed and uploaded this sketch today to this blog of mine. Copyrighted. See label beneath sketch for info about sketch and copyright notice.

I drew this because I saw a photo of a child with a braid in her hair and I liked it, but I changed everything about it as I drew the basic drawing, and painted it including color of hair, clothing, age of "pretend person", and added jewelry and background. The only similarity to the photo I saw in other words is the braid. I named this sketch "golden hair lady" and it is 9 x 1 inches on paper and in acrylics. However, it does have an underpainting of watercolors.

I, Gloria Poole, am putting another batch of the art I drew painted signed photographed and uploaded on this blog of mine. Copyrighted. See notice on about me page. Criminal hackers at remote broke into this as I was uploading photos, to try to control sizes of art. I am praying they go to federal prison and soon. I tried 3x times to make sizes uniform. I deleted the sketch that criminals at remote were trying to use to rearrange my composition. No security on web.

Sketch first Love by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia

I, Gloria Poole, of Missouri and Georgia, am putting this sketch I drew and painted and signed and photographed and uploaded on this blog. I named it "first love" of young teenagers shyly talking away from the grown-ups. It is acrylic on paper size 9x 12 and in my sketch book at moment. It's a re-do because I didn't get the look of the water right and especially near the pier but I like the theme so might paint it in canvas later. These are not real people.

I have NEVER had blond hair even as a tiny child. Both of my daughters were very blond up until college, but their hair is also darker more like mine now. But I know for certain that one of the accomplices of DBP who lives in Colorado dyes her hair a platinum [false looking] blond because she's old and gray- headed if hair not dyed blond. That is a statement of fact relevant to an on-going investigation into who is using my name and identity. I have been reported as blond yet I have NEVER been blond and NEVER dyed my hair. If you see my selfie from 15-March-2014 on about me page, you see the slight grey tendrils at my temples in my brown hair. I reason I earned them! And I'm keeping them.

I am a private US citizen by birth and draw, paint, photograph, blog, and tweet from my own private apartment. The Next NATO Sec-Gen's sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I, Gloria Poole, am putting here on this blog of mine another sketch of a Prime Minister, or in this case a former Prime Minister of Norway, who is Jens Stoltenberg of Norway who is to be the next NATO Secretary-General. I drew, painted, signed, photographed and uploaded this sketch of Mr Stoltenberg to this blog to go along with the seven sketches of Prime Ministers that I drew, painted, signed, photographed, uploaded to my blog https://gloriapoole.blogspot.com yesterday. I could not add another sketch to that post without having to adjust it a good bit so I am putting this sketch here. I drew this from the photo of Mr Stoltenberg that was in the NY times yesterday that I saw on web. But I changed it so his eyes in sketch were looking straight ahead instead of to side. I tried to replicate his clothing as I saw it in the news. You can also read most of my hand-written notes to myself in pencil to the side of the drawing. I drew it first, then painted it in acrylics on paper. The notes are generally for my purpose so It prompts me to paint it as authentically as possible when painting real people. Mr Stoltenberg is a LIVING real person who is to be the next NATO Secretary General and he was a former Prime Minister of Norway also. I reasoned if he was on front page NY Times as the next NATO Secretary-General he is not a "private" person which is a standard in the law. Also, note that the dark smudge on right side of his "face" was not intentional and was not on his face in NY Times' photo.. I did that unintentionally with brush with brown paint on it and didn't notice it before I photographed it. Painting "Dove of Holy Spirit" by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I, Gloria Poole, RN artist of Missouri, am putting four sketches I drew in years 2005-2008 so that viewers who know of art I created in the years I lived in Colorado "connect the dots" that I am the same Gloria Poole of that time AND the same Gloria Poole who painted the ethnic series and the same Gloria Poole who was born in state of Georgia. In this past week, cyber-criminals tried to steal another blog of mine, and a cell phone number of mine; and tried to destroy an electronic device of mine by sending malware to it via some internet "trick". I painted these sketches you see here when I lived in Colorado but I moved to Missouri on Oct 31, 2009 and to the same apartment I am writing this from today. I draw, paint, sign, photograph, and upload the art I put on my blogs. The first you see here is an acrylic painting I named "the Dove of The Holy Spirit" and my daughter Leigh owns it. It is acrylic paint on canvas board and created [drawn, painted signed] by me and named by me. This photo was tampered with by someone unauthorized at remote. I changed the size of it because the cyber-criminals who hacked it made it teeny-tiny. That's why it looks blurred. Also, I have these sketches in my possession but my daughter Leigh owns the painting "Dove of the Holy Spirit" but I own the copyright to it.

I have not bought domains since , because there is no security on web-hosting 'packages" because they do not honor business law or contract laws or any laws that I can tell since web-hosting companies do not try to stop cyber-criminals.

Pensacola Bay sketch & Vintage Plane sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

I, Gloria Poole, am adding two sketches I created [drew, painted, signed] in past few days. The first one I drew and painted this morning along with the sketch I put on my blog at https://gloriapoole.blogspot.com a few minutes ago. I named the first sketch "Pensacola Bay fun" and drew it of a daddy playing with young son. If you viewers remember I drew a sketch of a mother and daughter before for this blog. The bay of Pensacola, Florida is a very calm place to sail a boat usually because only small waves come in to shore because it is separate from the main body of ocean water. The sand of Pensacola is some of the whitest anywhere, and Pensacola has a great pier that people fish from and sight-see from. I have cousins in Pensacola, and one of them is an artist in her own right. Also, these "people" are not real, but made up by me with my pencil and paint brush.

The second sketch is also reminder of Pensacola also because I named it "Flight Museum vintage plane with pretend person pilot" . Pensacola has a great Museum there because they train Top Gun pilots there. When my two daughters Jennifer and Leigh were young, I took them to that Museum and we climbed into the planes when possible. I still remember that as one of my best times . Also, when I was young my daddy who was a veteran would take us to the annual air shows at Turner AFB in Albany Georgia and we would see the fly-overs and air show, and planes on the ground that the U S Air Force would have there. I LOVED that, and still go to air shows from time t time. I took some great photos of the air show in Missouri and put them on one of my online albums before. This is not the best sketch I ever drew by any means. I had much trouble getting it to look even ok. I thought it would be easy to draw, but it wasn't. I don't know if the flooding memories made it difficult or what. [My daddy died in 2004 and I still miss him so much.]. I drew and redrew parts of it til it looked over-worked. But whatever, it's here for world to see. Also, I tried to make the so-called pilot's helmet authentic for the times by putting a close fitting leather cap which was as I had seen in photos in history books. It's not a perfect rendition of that either.

Utopia Station Train sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia

I, Gloria Poole, drew this sketch and first painted it with watercolors. Then when I photographed it, I realized the perspective was wrong by much. So re-drew parts of it, and repainted it in acrylics and signed it, yesterday. Also, the background trees are watercolor so this is a mixed media sketch on paper in my sketch book, size 9x12 inches. And I had much trouble with that wrought iron cow-catcher on the front of train. I re-drew that so many times, finally just thought "it's finished for now" and probably a re-do later. Today, I also put sketches I created yesterday on my blogs: http://gloriapoole.blogspot.com [Sioux Falls Trolley] and on http://gloriapoole.wordpress.com [Prima Ballerina sketch 2]. This is on paper and is on my portable drawing board. I intended the landscape to be sort of red clay, sparse and selected the name "Utopia Station" precisely because much of the world lives in rural, [agrarian] land that might have sparse train stations. There is no such place as "Utopia Station" as far as I know. I made up that name and place. And of course, a real train would be either with a smokestack if a vintage train, or a lot of bells and whistles and ads on the sides of cars, etc. I simplified this "train" to focus on the engine of it, and the station. Hope you viewers like it. It is on my portable drawing board but I also draw at my drawing tabel, and on easels with canvases on them etc. I photograph sketches with that drawing board often because it has metal clamps that hold it in place. I also photograph art I create on my easels. Also, if you scroll all to the right edge you will see the metal clamps. The reflection is from the camera flash as it bounced light off a oil painting on my wall to the right. That painting reflected in the metal clamps is one I painted in 2011 and named "The Lawn." It is on other blogs of mine and I think also in my Picasa albums of art I created. Just so you know.

Also, I created a new blog named Mini Exhibition with title "Gloria's blog" at https://mini-exhibition.blogspot.com, and the first post I put on it, is the most recent ethnic oil paintings I painted in the ethnic series I have been painting since 2006. I intend to put art that I created as a series or set on that particular blog.

Also, I have put art I created on my blogs for YEARS [since about 2006] and I own the copyright to all of it, regardless of where I was at the time I drew/ sketched/ painted it; and regardless of for what purpose, or the year created, or the title [some people who ripped art I created off my websites in 2008, renamed them;] but art I create has my signature on it in paint usually and in my hand-writing.

I had many domains and several with my name in them but a hosting company stole them when they were paid up in yr 2008 and sold them to highest bidder to try to ruin me for opposing sodomy [because GOD also opposes it in Leviticus 18:22, KJV and Romans chapter one]. Their staffer told me he intended to take my domains [and keep my sites off web to censor me] until I apologized for publishing the scriptures opposing sin.
